Howdy glucose junkies!

I had an AWESOME 5km/3.1mile running race today! Bettered my last time by 33seconds to bring it to 21:05! My PB is 20:20 but that was a while back so I’m happy with this current time. It really hurt like hell to push myself but now I’m floating on cloud 9 with bliss. Please do yourself a favour and get your ass into running!

So onto the hot topic…

In recent times I decided to have some cooked vegan food. Partly experiment, partly due to being undercarbed. I had a few things, some tofu, steamed potatoes and lentils. At the time the taste was overwhelming because there was salt on the tofu and interestingly it wasn’t really that tasty beyond the first few bites, it did however leave me full at the end. My sleep wasn’t as sound. The next morning I woke up feeling pretty hung over. I spied myself in the mirror and had a pretty puffy face. My hands were fatter with fluid retention due to the sodium content, making it harder to close them. My belly carried an extra layer of fluid which had a jiggle to it – proving that not all jiggly weight is fat! My digestion wasn’t as good and I didn’t have my big fruity bowel movement in the morning. Later I realised many of these symptoms were due to being dehydrated as well (from not drinking enough water followed by eating cooked food). I got moving and went for an easy jog, my whole digestive system didn’t feel as light and floaty as I was used to it feeling. After the jog I felt a whole lot better.

So the prognosis? Fruit is QUEEN as usual. Every bite of fruit is AMAZING, without salt, without added flavours and excitotoxins, just as is. Fruit is the only food that doesn’t leave us with somewhat of a debt to pay, every other food (on a lesser scales greens) is subject to the debt-collector… That being said if for some reason I can’t get hold of fruit or pasteurised juice I will *consider* having cooked carbohydrates like potatoes. I would rather be carbed up then exhausted and hungry.

I am all about helping people stay vegan first and foremost, over the years I have seen far too many people go back to eating animals because they didn’t educate themselves to the importance of eating sufficient carbohydrates. And it kills me… They come to the HCRV lifestyle with no ethical attachment to animals whatsoever (like myself actually) then undereat on fruit and BAM! they are back eating everything…even the flesh of another creature…SICK. This is not only supporting the murder of innocent animals and the rape of our environment but it is also EXTREMELY damaging to their health.

People aren’t getting fat and sick off plant foods (cooked or not), they are getting fat and sick off animal pieces and secretions. So remember if you are not prepared to do what it takes to thrive on the most ideal lifestyle for humans *The HCRV lifestyle* then listen up! Before you go back to eating health/animal/planet-destroying ‘foods’ please INCREASE YOUR CARBS first! Get them from cooked carbohydrates if you have to. Go to cronometer and work out your calories so you are having 80% or more of your calories from carbs a day, 10% (or less) from fat and from protein. You can be EVERYTHING you want to be and more but only if you are carbed UP!

Well it’s just about time for me to go fruit myself

Ok so onto the latest news….

BANGED UP ABROAD IN BANGKOK….

I was thinking about the time I spent in Bangkok recently, I was there for around 5months. My reason for staying there was to learn Thai language for a year. Obviously this didn’t end up working out because I’m now back here in Aussieland (thankfully). My plans started out alright, I got everything with my course paid up, found a small studio apartment in the heart of Bangkok near Lumpini Park and was close to good fruit sources. I started classes and found them fun, everyone was really nice and class was interesting. I wasn’t exactly learning a lot because class was only 4hrs a week and my commitment to homework was overrun by my desire to contribute on the net.

Harley went back to Australia for a few months and I began spending up to 15hrs a day on the internet, closed up in a small concrete room surrounded by the polluted city of Bangkok. After spending 24/7 with Harley, I got really lonely and became somewhat a hermit. I began seeing less people, exercising less and eating less because I was spending so much time on the internet. The internet became like my coffee, a stimulant giving me false energy that I would pay back later. I wasn’t eating enough and as a result I could hardly sleep at night (fasters are notoriously bad sleepers). In turn I became dehydrated. Living in lack instead of abundance.

Needless to say I started behaving like someone I didn’t know or particularly like, I felt strange and out of balance and expected more from myself. People and things that normally didn’t worry me at all became significant problems all of a sudden, I found it hard to experience gratitude and understanding. When Harley was away I became frustrated at him having fun in the sun without me and gave him a hard time about it. I said some things I wasn’t proud of for sure, sometimes I stuff up and in that moment I was definitely in a compromised state. Harley was cool of course because he is the master of not taking things personally. He also sees me as his soulmate and has unconditional love for me, I am so grateful for this.

Don’t get me wrong though, I really did have many good times in my unit, times of absolute bliss! It’s hard not to on this lifestyle. That’s just it, essentially I wasn’t following the lifestyle at all, I wasn’t doing it correctly. I knew as a whole I wasn’t looking after myself well at all. The lethal combination of 15hrs a day on the computer, under-eating, dehydration, lack of sleep, living in a small concrete room in a polluted city was starting to wear on me. Maybe this is why I manifested little Bunny rabbit Jay into my life, I found her on deaths door and helped her recover, she in turn helped me. Why am I telling you all this? Well because I want to help others who may not be feeling 100% themselves and offer up possible reasons why. What have I learned from this experience? Always look after my basic needs FIRST, above all, sugar, water, sleep first and foremost. Don’t put myself in environment/situation that is unhealthy and breeds unhealthy habits.

I now realise many people live on this level everyday of their lives and they wonder why they feel and look like death. After my short stint as an undercarbed hermit in Bangkok I realise how hard life must be for these folks 24/7. This is one of the reasons why I adopt a tough love approach to helping people because I really care and I know this approach works. People can hate me if they want but my heart is in the right place. Often times I’m the only one they will hear it from. Most of us need to get uncomfortable about our bad habits before we consider changing them. I needed to.

I now limit my internet time to 6hrs a day and as nature intended spend many hours having fun in the sun. I won’t live in such a polluted place ever again particularly because I’m so sensitive to my surrounding environment. If you can’t get enough fruit make sure you still don’t limit your carbohydrate intake even if that means eating Dr Mcdougall-style high carb, low fat vegan dishes. It’s better to be 100% carbed up then 100% raw and undercarbed suffering from constant glucose-exhaustion.

I just can’t emphasise the importance of firstly balancing the carbs, water, sleep equation, it is crucial if you want to be your trueself and attract abundance into your life. And remember you weren’t born with a computer strapped to your lap or with an exhaust pipe blowing in your face. Live as close to nature as you can. Lastly, problems are a sign of life, they are character building and we bring them into our lives for a reason, so we can learn, grow and smash through our limiting behaviour.

Rock on glucose junkies!

Howdy all. Lately I have been busy organising everything for our trip overseas. First stop will be Asia for a few weeks to soak up some sunshine and scoff down some durian. After that we are heading to New York City to attend and be guest speakers at the Woodstock Fruit Festival. Boy I’m excited! Will keep you posted on the developments. Over the past 2 weeks we have given two talks in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. It was great to meet some of our facebook friends and fellow 30BaDers. Durianrider had people in stitches during his talk, you can download it here. We both learnt a lot of valuable lessons which we will be taking with us into our future talks. So onto todays topic…OIL Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about fats in the diet and especially oils. There is plenty of confusing (mis)information about oils out there. Some comes from well-intentioned folks and the rest from people and companies trying to make a quick buck off us, so we really have to sort through the rubbish to find the truth. I have gathered some pretty substantial evidence to support the exclusion of oil in our diet, both from experience and conclusive research. Health food? For a food to qualify as a ‘health food’ it obviously has to contain health-giving properties such as micro and macronutrients. Coconut oil is BIG in the raw food scene so I will likely put some noses out of joint focusing on it but here goes It contains nothing that humans need like carbohydrates, EFA’s, protein, vitamins, minerals and fibre. And plenty of what we don’t need ~ saturated fats. Coconut oil is not only 100% refined fat that goes straight to the hips but it obtains over 90% of its calories from saturated fat, that’s more than butter! Honestly if you are trying to shed some lbs, eating pure fat (or oil) is the worst thing you can do for your ‘waste-line’. I have heard about the supposed miraculous ‘thermogenic effects’ of coconut oil on weight loss but all it does is create a carbohydrate deficit in the diet (carbs are replaced with fat) which then leads to temporary water-loss on the scales. High fat, low carb diets NEVER work long term and are very unhealthy. Not only that, telling a fat person to eat more fat in order to get slimmer is like trying to put a fire out with petrol. Not Effective! Lets employ some common sense shall we? When you consume fat calories they go straight to your fat cells and do not change their structure, so much so that if we had your fat stores analysed in a lab we could tell what type of fat you eat. Like bacon? That means your gut or butt is filled out with pig fat. Remember, the body always prefers to store fat calories and use carb calories for fuel. It’s not my opinion but how it works. The Worlds leading authority on heart disease reversal- Dr Esselstyn has conducted the longest and most successful heart disease reversal program ever. Lets say the man knows ALL about oils and what they do to the body.

“They (oils) contain saturated fat which immediately injures the endothelial lining of the arteries when eaten. It doesn’t matter whether it’s olive oil, corn oil, or any other kind of oil.” ~ Dr Esselstyn

Fat chart

Olive Oil: But olive oil is a health food I hear you crying!! Well is it really?? Or is that just what you have been aggressively conditioned to believe?

“There is a fairly recent study done on the Isle of Crete, where the original famous Mediterranean diet of the 1960′s came from. They looked at 304 patients In Crete, 152 patients with heart disease vs 152 without heart disease. The patients with heart disease had significantly higher daily intakes of monounsaturated fats (Olive Oil). The patients without heart disease had higher intakes of carbohydrates, fiber, folate & omega 3’s. The more mono unsaturated fat (olive oil) consumed, the more heart disease.”Jeff Novick, MS, RD

Here is an excellent video from Jeff Novick on Olive oil…. Contained within all whole foods (and oils) are 3 types of fats ~ poly unsaturated, mono unsaturated and saturated. Each food has different amounts of each fat. I don’t always look to ‘conventional wisdom’ when it comes to health recommendations but sometimes they get it right! For instance the American Heart Association says to limit our intake of saturated fat to no more than 7% of calories. Most people are going over this then wondering why they get fat and sick. Not surprisingly, the only scientific documentation available (that leads to the reversal of heart disease) has been demonstrated on diets that obtain less than 5% of their calories from saturated fat.

“A study on humans conducted by David Blankenhorn, M.D., and his associates compared the effects of different types of fats on the growth of atherosclerotic lesions inside the coronary arteries of people by studying the results of angiograms taken one year apart (JAMA 263:1646, 1990). The study demonstrated that all three types of fat–saturated animal fat, monounsaturated (olive oil), and polyunsaturated (EFA)–were associated with a significant increase in new atherosclerotic lesions. Most importantly, the growth of these lesions did not stop when polyunsaturated fats of the w-6 type (linoleic acid) and monounsaturated fats (olive oil) were substituted for saturated fats. Only by decreasing all fat intake–including poly- and monounsaturated fats–did the lesions stop growing.” ~ Dr McDougall

What about Omega 3′s?! Oils do not contain the right balance of EFA’s, they have insufficient Omega 3′s and an oversupply of Omega 6′s. It is extremely easy to get sufficient fat calories on a high carb raw vegan lifestyle. The National Academy of Sciences says that an adequate daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids is 1.1 grams for women and 1.6 grams for men. Which works out to between 1-3% of our daily calories or about ¼ to 1/3 of a teaspoon a day. Easily attained on a HCRV lifestyle or a high carb cooked vegan lifestyle like this one We get all our EFA’s by eating sufficient calories from fruits and greens (or even just fruits if you choose). Take a look at this fascinating short video of a Dr who raises his triglyceride levels almost instantly through ingesting olive oil and becomes a diabetic in 6hrs. Watch it to the end! [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_42LfH8veEU&w=460&h=349] Cooking with oils? I don’t recommend anyone uses oil when they cook (or to cook in general!),as it creates carcinogenic chemical compounds. Cancer causing substances such as 1,3-butadiene, benzene, acrolein and formaldehyde have been observed. Yes there are oils (such as coconut oil) that are stable at high heat during cooking due to its level of saturation. However, when the goal is to DECREASE the amount of saturated fats in the diet, consuming almost pure saturated fat in any quantity is of course counterproductive. So what do you use for high carb raw vegan cooking? Dr McDougall’s cook book may help you. I recommend you do an experiment. Take all the oils out of your diet and replace those calories with high carb foods like fruit/grains/root vegies (depending on what lifestyle you follow) Go to www.cronometer.com and aim to eat a minimum of 80% of your calories from carbohydrates and a maximum of 10% of your calories from WHOLE food fat sources. Getting oils out of my life was one of the best things I’ve ever done! I didn’t realise how much I was holding myself back by including oil in my diet. Oil consumption can and does lead to all sorts of sugar metabolic problems because it basically turns our bloodstream into an oil slick and prevents the sugar in the blood leaving and entering the cells. Not to mention drastically increasing our risk of cardiovascular disease (the number one killer). Coconut oil is great… ON your skin, it also provides an SPF of about 8, just remember a minute on the lips, a lifetime on the hips!

I did a talk the other night that I’m sure many of you will find helpful.

It was actually my first ‘official’ talk. I will be giving two more in two different states over the next few weeks. I’m very excited! We have a really cool projector presentation ready. Anyways back to the talk. I spoke about my journey to a high carb raw vegan lifestyle. I included many funny fruit pics which kept the crowd amused. I also included 3 audio testimonials from people following a high carb raw vegan lifestyle which I think are fantastic! After I gave my talk, we went straight into Q & A which lasted 1 hour, just about everybody who attended asked a question which was great.

It’s taken me a day to condense my talk down to 1hr. It’s on fat loss, fruit myths and succeeding on a HCRV lifestyle.
If you would like to download it, please do! You can do that here…

Look forward to any feedback!

I had a Facebook discussion the other day about b12 levels. One lady was saying that she went back to eating animal products to improve her b12 levels. She basically said that ‘since she has been vegan her b12 levels have plummeted’. I questioned her further and asked did she have a b12 test prior to going vegan that we could compare the current results to ~ she continually avoided my question and it soon became clear she had none. Why didn’t she have tests? Well because b12 deficiency is unfortunately a *very* uncommon test for Dr’s to perform. Therefore these individuals cannot, with any credibility, say that a Vegan diet left them b12 deficient. Of course we must have previous test results to compare to.

Another individual asked why the “true” diet for humans doesn’t rebuild the person in questions b12 levels and bring them back to health. This is a fair enough question so I thought I would go into it in detail…

Of course we can heal so much on a HCRV lifestyle but, within reason. It’s important to understand that adopting a high carb raw vegan lifestyle (after years of ill health) is not a panacea for all our past bodily abuses. It’s not that black and white. It’s quite funny, some people expect that if you chop off your hand while following a high carb raw vegan lifestyle ~ that it will grow back, and if it doesn’t then it’s the fault of the lifestyle! lol. Of course some damage is irreversible.

Damage done prior to a Vegan/HCRV lifestyle>>

* We are holistic beings and there are *many* other factors to take into consideration in addition to what we eat. Firstly there is no ‘true diet’ for humans but there IS a ‘true lifestyle’, which of course encompasses the ideal diet. On a side note, I know of some individuals who have called themselves a HCRV and at the same time, have been anorexic and taking recreational drugs on the weekend. Many of us have come from terrible health-destroying lifestyles and some unwittingly expect HCRV to totally reverse time.

Personally I came to HCRV from a past of drug abuse, antibiotic (anti-life) use, anorexia, bulimia, somewhat SAD eating, various operations etc, all of which can destroy (potentially permanently) the bodies ability to produce the intrinsic factor which is necessary to absorb b12. I have healed MANY of my problems in just the past 4.5 years. However, just as we can permanently scar our external body ~ with the wrong lifestyles/various operations etc, we are quite proficient at scarring and compromising the function of our internal body as well. Some individuals may be able to absorb b12 again, some may not. From my understanding, when most cells are regenerated they will maintain the existing structure. During mitosis the *original* chromosomal data is not reconstructed but the cell is duplicated (like with scar cells). Regeneration does not always mean the damaged cell goes back and matches the original code of the DNA. Sometimes epithelial cells of the GI tract are destroyed and gastric atrophy results. Destruction of the mucosa leads to damage to villi and crypts. Over time epithelial cells of the mucosa begin to atrophy and then metaplasia *abnormal change in the nature of the tissue* can occur. This damage impairs absorptive and epithelial regenerative functions within the affected areas. Also If there is no presence of basement membrane then replacement of epithelial cells (found in GI and on skin) through Mitosis will not happen.

Soil depletion and modern living>>

* I’m sure you will agree that living in today’s modern society is far from the true lifestyle nature designed for us. Unfortunately I can’t live fully as nature intended and pick every bit of my fruit from the tree or pull my greens fresh from the soil every time. This would be IDEAL of course but not achievable for most. We live in a sterile polluted environment where our food is scrubbed (generally with chemicals) ‘clean’ of any soil and b12 possibility. To worsen the situation ~ the soil quality has been terribly depleted of cobalt and phosphorus over the years, due to modern cattle farming that removes these vital elements from the soil. We require cobalt (it is only assimilated by the body in the form of vitamin B12). Out of all the vitamins known, Vitamin B-12 (Cobalamin) is the only vitamin that contains a mineral ~ cobalt, hence the name. In theory we should be able to convert sufficient amounts of B12 to meet our needs without any dietary intake however if cobalt is lacking from the soil (which it is apparently from about 60% of our soil) then b12 cannot form correctly (it is essential to the chemical makeup of b12, without cobalt ~ b12 isn’t b12). So as HCRV’s our absorption *may* be top notch but missing the vital element ~ Cobalt and b12.

See the factors mounting up?

Interesting statistics>>

A tufts University Study in Boston found that not only was low B-12 levels common in the entire population but 39% of Americans were actually b12 deficient. Even though these individuals were eating as much as 3 times the recommended daily intake. There was also a large scale Framingham Offspring Study that found nearly 40% of participants between the ages of 26-83 had low b12 levels ~ a level in which some people experience neurological symptoms. Scary. Again vegans and vegetarians are routinely tested but people eating animal bits and pieces are not. When they are, then the truth comes out that b12 deficiency is not at all exclusive to a plant-centred lifestyle like ‘they’ would have you believe.

BUT the people with deficiencies are SAD eaters!!>>

*Of course people eating SAD processed diets certainly aren’t helping their health situation. that’s true. However, if this was the only cause for their deficiency (which it isn’t) then we wouldn’t find a lack of b12 rife throughout individuals eating ‘whole food’ unprocessed, moderate to high meat-centred diets. For example; I have friends who have been eating “healthy” raw animal products every day for many, many years (the closest diet to healthy *if* eating animal products). A few of them eat what most refer to as, “A raw paleo diet” ~ no processed or cooked foods, and significant amounts of animal products. Ironically, one friend who has been following the lifestyle for at least 10 years, showed me his b12 level just a week ago ~ 220. Same as what it was years earlier. This is low and he does NOT have a deficiency of raw animal substances in his diet. The level should be over 500 according to the World’s leading authorities on Vitamin b12 deficiency (Japan even has a minimum cut off of 550 and they have one of the lowest rates of dementia in the World). On a side note ~ there is little ‘life force’ is a piece of tortured flesh but there’s plenty of ‘death force’ in the form of the animals fear ~ adrenaline. Not to mention ~ uric acid, cholesterol, saturated fat, pathogenic bacteria and carcinogenic benzopyrenes

BUT animal sources restore b12 production!>>

It’s simply not true or else we wouldn’t see the deficiencies we do in animal eaters of all persuasions. Unfortunately some people (even Dr’s receiving kickbacks) continue to listen to, and parrot the Meat and Dairy Industry recommendations. They would have you believe you need to eat animals for b12, when on the contrary in excess of 99% of those who are b12 deficient are actually eating carcass, bovine secretion and chicken menses. The problem is that people eating these animal substances have not *ever* been routinely (or accurately) tested for b12 deficiency. However, (from M & D Industry education) if you say you’re a vegan, they jump on you straight away with a b12 test! Clever Industry persuasion. Which then of course makes Vegans/Vegetarians appear to be the most deficient. Fortunately this is changing and recently more animal eaters are being tested and honestly, the results have been alarming. Inaccurate testing measures and a lack of Dr training about the importance of b12 is a source of frustration for many experts in the field. Serum B12 (the standard test) can and does fail to detect a deficiency. Urinary MMA and Homocysteine tests need to be taken as well to rule out a deficiency.

Factors affecting absorption of b12>>

* To add to the insult for cooked fooders, much of the b12 ingested is rendered useless due to it being a heat-sensitive vitamin. It’s been reported that as much as 89% of the vitamin is destroyed on cooking. That is HUGE but even considering this fact, as stated earlier, the raw meat eaters STILL have consistently low b12 levels. If some b12 does ‘get through’ most people then cannot absorb or utilise. This makes for a lot of deficiencies. If the intrinsic factor is impaired or missing, B12 production and absorption will not take place, no matter how much is in your meat, seafood, dairy, and eggs. In our modern society, this means just about everyone may be deficient. Every second person has gastrointestinal issues of some sort being ~ Crohn’s, IBS, celiac disease. These malabsorption issues are brought about by a vast number of factors including poor diets high in vitamin-blocking fat and animal products, recreational/ prescription drug use, antacid use, any surgery (including dental) that exposes us to nitrous oxide (an anaesthetic used for operations), alcoholism, pernicious anemia, autoimmune disorders. The list goes on. Basically you are likely to have compromised absorption and be b12 deficient if you have ever had an operation (including dental work), eaten the Standard Western Diet, taken drugs of any sort, or have an inherited weakness. Birth control pills are also a common culprit in depleting B12 stores and compromising absorption. The dangers of b12 deficiency should be taken very seriously. I will discuss it in my next blog.

I have more to say on the topic regarding accurate testing, the dangers of deficiency, purity, supplementation, and b12 resources. I will also share my own personal story and results taking b12 supplementation…

I’ve noticed there is a serious lack of emphasis on the “Vegan” part in the low fat raw vegan movement. Many people adopt this lifestyle for selfish reasons, as I did myself. For a long time I have been of the belief that this is for the best, because if we don’t look after ourselves first then how do we then look after the animals? The truth is we can do both but unfortunately many don’t get to the stage of “looking after the animals” because they don’t prioritise it. And subsequently fall off the low fat raw vegan wagon before they have educated themselves deeply on the matter. Predictably they end up undereating on fruit and go back to consuming the most dense, most familiar calorie source they know – animal bits and pieces.

I educated myself early to the misery, cruelty and exploitation animals have to endure as a result of a population obsessed with undereating on carbohydrates. Believe me it is utterly SICK and PSYCHOTIC what goes on behind slaughterhouse walls and organic dairies/farms… I used to live on a small farm, trust me the animals still suffer immensely. We stole a lot of milk from our cows over the years (that was meant for their babies). We had them routinely raped to produce more milk. When they no longer gave us milk, we betrayed their trust with the final insult and sent them to what the adults called “The knackery” or what I soon learned to be – “The House of Slaughter”. Little did I know they were going to be butchered up into dog food. Or heinously fed back to other herbivorous animals to unnaturally increase their milk production (due to the high cholesterol content).

Many say that the industry associated with the promotion and production of dairy and eggs is just as cruel as the one dealing directly with the slaughter and sale of flesh. Cows and chickens are abused (including routinely raped) for longer periods and slaughtered when they are no longer ‘useful’ (at about a 5th of their natural lifespan). We have been brainwashed from a very young age to think that eating other animals is not only normal but essential to health. To view them as a food staple and treat them like a commodity. BUT who cares right? We live in a culture of denial. We have a MILLION pathetic excuses as to why we *need* to eat animals again. Not to mention in this society we are almost assured that no one will remind us of the pain and suffering that went into producing our meal. The media, friends, family…we have all made a collective agreement that discussing such things is TABOO. Well not anymore, the vegans are multiplying and being that voice of truth and REAL compassion.

EDUCATION:
Gary Yourofsky’s life-changing speech on Veganism…

As individuals we can speak about kindess, love and being non-judgmental, BUT if our actions (particularly at mealtime) are in direct conflict with this, then our words only serve to create more denial and pain in this World and within ourselves. We can quote from the bible all we want and try to excuse our brutality but every corner we turn…there it is. Here is one of the many suitable quotes that is conveniently ignored by religious corpse munchers…

Isaiah 1:15 states, “The multitude of your sacrifices – what are they to me,” says the Lord. I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals. I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats… Your hands of full of blood; wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight. Stop doing wrong, learn to do right.”

The beauty of this lifestyle is that you can be the healthiest and most vibrant person you dream of being and at the same time not support the rape, torture or slaughter of other beings. What could be any better?

Sadly the conditioning runs very deep and these animal products are easily available, aggressively marketed and packed in perfect clean packets with fancy labels that hide their true cost and origin of misery. Sure we can get angry at the Meat & Dairy Industry or slaughterhouse workers for the terrible crimes they commit however if we eat meat, dairy and eggs then WE are the abusers, the rapists, the murderers. Every dollar we spend is a vote for what we believe in. So if you believe in supporting death and suffering then continue to fill your mouth with putrefying meat, fish, milk, cheese and eggs from tortured beings.

On an important note ~ for those who misinterpret a fruit craving for a flesh or secretion deficiency then please don’t cheat and pay Mr Butcher to do your dirty work. As a true omnivore does, kill your own meal and every flesh meal that follows. Try to sneak past a bull, up to a random cow in a field and rip the calf away from her nipple and start sucking on it. Trust me, you will be lucky to escape that paddock alive let alone steal any milk. Even trying to get past an undomesticated rooster to steal the hens eggs will leave you extremely vulnerable to the incredibly sharp nails and beak of the rooster. I can assure you, neither experience will be like a pleasant trip down the grocery isle. Please wake up by educating yourself, push aside the torturous food and choose high carb cruelty-free vegan foods when you fall off the low fat raw vegan wagon. Because there really is no other reality to it – When we consume animal bits, pieces and secretions, we directly instigate the rape, exploitation and death of other animals that are equally as vulnerable as us. Other animals that have a deep desire to live JUST as badly as we do, they have a purpose to fulfill JUST like we do, they have family, friends and feelings.. JUST like we do.

“Can one regard a fellow creature as a property item, an investment, a piece of meat, an ‘it’, without degenerating into cruelty towards that creature?”~ Karen Davis.

EDUCATION:

If you are still eating animals after reading this, The World Peace Diet and watching those videos, then you need some serious psychiatric help and a LOT more carbohydrate calories!
