How to make low fat raw vegan work long term

Posted on November 25th

Exercise: 8km hilly jog and 20km bike ride today, yesterday was 40kms on the bike.

Food: Several Kgs of mangoes, tomatoes and dates :) )

Took a few shots today, attention-grabbing ones aimed at promoting veganism to the masses, we live in a society where sex sells so I thought I’d ‘go with the flow’… I got inspiration from veganvixens.com, some lovely vegan gals saving animals lives with their beauty and brains, awesome! So check em out…

My tips for succeeding on a low fat raw vegan lifestyle….

BUILD COMMUNITY AROUND YOURSELF

* Surround yourself with other people who are following the low fat raw vegan lifestyle
* Contribute on forums, help others and in the process help yourself
* Start a LFRV meet-up group in your area
* Give LFRV talks and inspire others to improve their health hence building your own resolve stronger
* Be the change you want to see in your family and friends, commit 100% to LFRV
* Find someone to emulate, get a rawfood coach
* Make Youtube Videos about your success’s on a LFRV lifestyle and inspire others to do the same!

GET THE FOOD PART RIGHT…

* Simplify your life so you have more $$ for organic produce, prioritise your health
* Always have quantity of ripe fruit around, always have a box of bananas on hand
* Get to know your local organic shop owner for discounts
* Get a job at your local fruit shop
* Commit to counting your calories everyday for 1month when first starting up 811/LFRV to make sure you are eating enough fruit, 99% of people who don’t succeed on LFRV are just not eating enough cals from fruit.
* Write down your perfect match and attract the LFRV partner of your dreams! This can help a lot as far as support on this path goes, it’s always fun to share a mango meal with someone special :)
* Read succeeding socially on LFRV
* Get organic deliveries, join an organic fruit & veg co-op or start your own
* Have your first meal with an hour or so of getting up in the morning as this will prevent ravenous hunger and potential cooked food binge later in the day/week/month…trust me on this one
* Read up on basic physiology, if you understand how your body works then you are less likely to pollute it
* Decide that cooked food is NO longer an option, do the research until you are convinced it’s not food

EXERCISE:
* Get into a regular exercise routine, best done first thing in the morning, go with a buddy too sometimes
* Drop the obsession with vanity, doing LFRV for weightloss will not work long term
* Join your local runners/riders club and meet others who enjoy moving

ETHICAL:
* Become a voice for the animals
* Join PETA and get active in saving our animal friends
* Give talks about Veganism
* Hand out flyers and stick up stickers to raise awareness for animal cruelty
* Start a Vegan Group at your Uni or workplace

We are off to the Raw Retreat tomorrow so I may not post for a week or 2 but you never know I may sneak a few in :)
Ciao for now
